Measuring the success of our work

Our measurement of success framework encompasses key elements that the communities we’re working with have chosen.

It was an amazing process to engage the Elders and Leaders specifically on what would be important to them in the measurement process. It drew out many areas of which we were aware, but hearing it directly from the hearts and mouths of the communities was invaluable, crystallizing what we had seen and heard from our five years of working across the country in many different locations. It reaffirmed for us the importance of co-developing this framework, rather than assuming we know what’s best.

It’s clear to us that economic outcomes are crucial, but equally important are social, environmental, cultural and wellbeing outcomes, which of course are all interrelated and positively reinforce each other.
